Dan Borok is a Managing Partner at nvp capital. Before co-founding nvp, Dan was a Partner at Millennium Technology Value Partners, where he focused on B2B software investing.
He’s been drawn to B2B software from the start—beginning his career in business operations at Google, where he had to evaluate, purchase, and use enterprise software (with varying degrees of success). He believes great software doesn’t just boost productivity—it makes people’s work lives better.
Dan aspires to take walking meetings but hasn’t found the right route yet.
He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the University of Vermont.
Vaughn Crowe is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at nvp capital, where he leads direct investments across the firm’s core themes, including B2B software and vertical AI. He has built a career supporting founders from the earliest stages, bringing a combination of operational experience, investment insight, and long-term partnership to every company he backs.
Prior to launching nvp, Vaughn served as Managing Director at Wesray Social Investments, the investment arm of Ray Chambers’s family office, where he worked across the capital spectrum—from seed and Series A to growth and buyout. During his time there, he also served as Executive Chair of a $300M consumer products company, where he led key operational initiatives and strategic direction.
Earlier in his career, Vaughn began at Chubb Insurance, where he served as a property and casualty underwriter and marketing manager.
Vaughn is Vice Chair of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Hospital, and sits on the boards of several companies, including nvp capital portfolio companies Pair Team, Handspring Health, Ryse Marketplace, and Workgrounds.
He holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University and attended Harvard Business School.
As one of the founding managing partners of nvp, Tom Wisniewski is now an Operating Partner, whose investment work is currently focused on B2B Commerce, B2B Marketplaces, and Enterprise Software. Previously, Tom was an entrepreneur and held senior positions in multiple VC-backed companies. Tom’s angel investments include Pond5 (sold to Stripe Group, 60x), Anvato (sold to Google, 19x), Jackpocket (85x). He serves on the board of nvp portfolio companies Volition, Gearflow, Agilis, and Wellsheet.
Today, Tom is active in several early-stage Angel and tech innovation groups, including the Black and Latino Angel Investment Fund in Newark. Tom’s passion lies in fostering collaboration within the VC and tech ecosystems, where he actively mentors aspiring entrepreneurs and investors. He also enjoys building in wood and stone, creating cocktails and fine food, and serving as the family Math/Science tutor.
Tom has an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Clark University.
