Chika Ogele

Chika Ogele is an Associate at nvp capital, where he leverages his background as both a founder and operator to identify and support early-stage companies. He began his career as founder of ComeUp, a music technology startup, before joining Goldman Sachs, where he spent four years in finance. He later served as Chief of Staff to the COO at Eight Sleep, a venture-backed healthtech company.

Chika holds degrees in Finance and Economics from New York University.

Skylar Dorosin

Skylar Dorosin is a Principal at nvp capital. In addition to leading deals, Skylar plays a key role in writing and developing theses on vertical AI and the technologies transforming legacy industries, and articulating what nvp looks for in the next generation of category-defining companies.

Skylar brings experience building products across HR tech, benefits, and fintech, having held roles at BetterUp, Justworks, and Level. She also served as a venture scout for Accel from 2022-2024.

Originally from Palo Alto, California, Skylar holds a BS from Stanford University, where she played Division I water polo.

Dan Borok

Dan Borok is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of nvp capital, focused on backing founders building vertical AI companies that are shaping the future of legacy industries.

Before founding nvp capital, Dan was a Partner at Millennium Technology Value Partners, a multi-stage venture firm where he led investments in BigCommerce (IPO), Magnite (IPO), Envivio (IPO), Yodle (Acquired by Web.com) and Janrain (Acquired by Akamai). At nvp capital, Dan works with companies including Vulcan Elements, HomeVision, Compyl, and Upscale.ai, and previously on Podsights, acquired by Spotify.

Dan began his career at Google, where he caught the bug for venture investing and also saw firsthand the potential for high-quality enterprise software within an organization.  Dan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the University of Vermont.

Vaughn Crowe

Vaughn Crowe is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of nvp capital, where he leads direct investments across the firm’s core themes in B2B software and vertical AI. With a career spanning operational leadership and venture investing, Vaughn is known for building long-term partnerships with founders from the earliest stages through scale.

Before launching nvp, Vaughn was Managing Director at Wesray, the family office of Ray Chambers, where he invested across seed, growth, and buyout stages and helped seed several notable PE and VC firms. He also served as Executive Chair of a $300M consumer products company, leading key operational and strategic initiatives. Earlier in his career, Vaughn worked at Chubb Insurance as a property and casualty underwriter and marketing manager.

Vaughn serves as Vice Chair of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, part of RWJBarnabas Health, and sits on several boards, including, Toothio, Handspring Health, Ryse Marketplace, and Workgrounds. He holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University, where he played football (Go ‘Gate!) and attended Harvard Business School.

Tom Wisniewski

As one of the founding managing partners of nvp, Tom Wisniewski is now an Operating Partner, whose investment work is currently focused on B2B Commerce, B2B Marketplaces, and Enterprise Software. Previously, Tom was an entrepreneur and held senior positions in multiple VC-backed companies. Tom’s angel investments include Pond5 (sold to Stripe Group, 60x), Anvato (sold to Google, 19x), Jackpocket (85x). He serves on the board of nvp portfolio companies Volition, Gearflow, Agilis, and Wellsheet.

Today, Tom is active in several early-stage Angel and tech innovation groups, including the Black and Latino Angel Investment Fund in Newark. Tom’s passion lies in fostering collaboration within the VC and tech ecosystems, where he actively mentors aspiring entrepreneurs and investors. He also enjoys building in wood and stone, creating cocktails and fine food, and serving as the family Math/Science tutor.

Tom has an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Clark University.

Jennifer Solomon

Jennifer L. Solomon is Head of Platform at nvp capital, where she leads communications, events, and ecosystem engagement across the firm’s galaxy of founders, co-investors, and limited partners. She partners closely with portfolio companies on media strategy, fundraising announcements, and go-to-market storytelling, and supports them in building visibility and connections that accelerate growth. Jennifer also oversees nvp’s event programming and community initiatives, bringing together founders, LPs, and co-investors to foster collaboration and expand the firm’s network.

Jennifer holds a BA from SUNY Binghamton University and a Master’s in Strategic Marketing Communication from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
